ASTM A333
Low-Temperature Seamless Pipe
ASTM A333 / ASME SA-333 seamless steel pipe for low-temperature service, with Charpy impact testing. Grade 6 is the most specified.
ASTM A333 seamless pipe
OVERVIEW
Pipe that stays tough in the cold.
ASTM A333 covers seamless and welded carbon and alloy steel pipe for low-temperature service and other applications that need notch toughness. Each grade is Charpy impact tested at a set temperature.
Grade 6, a carbon-manganese grade impact tested at −50°F (−45°C), is the most widely specified. We supply A333 seamless pipe, dual certified to ASME SA-333 where the order requires, with an MTR that reports impact results, heat number and country of melt.
