Global Seamless Tubes & Pipes is establishing its first United States production plant in DeSoto Parish, creating a new domestic supply base for seamless tube and pipe customers.

A long-term manufacturing investment
The company announced a $35 million investment in the Mansfield site. The project is expected to create 135 direct jobs, with Louisiana Economic Development estimating a further 251 indirect jobs — 386 potential jobs in total.
The location places Global Seamless within an important North American energy and industrial corridor. It also enables closer technical coordination and shorter supply lines for customers in oil and gas, power generation and industrial engineering.
Repurposing industrial infrastructure
The 300,000-square-foot property includes approximately 175,000 square feet of existing foundry infrastructure planned for repurposing. The facility is designed to integrate hot-finished and cold-drawn production routes, with a planned annual capacity of 80,000 MT.
This investment extends the company’s dual-process manufacturing model from India to the United States while adding regional commercial and technical support.
Supporting the regional economy
Beyond direct manufacturing employment, the project is expected to generate activity across logistics, services and the wider supply chain in northwest Louisiana.
For customers, the Mansfield operation represents a commitment to local availability, manufacturing control and long-term participation in the North American market.
